Scaffstage System
SCAFFSTAGE is a modular system scaffold with wedge fixing for all access scaffold requirements.
The wedge fixing of the ledgers and transoms gives a simple and fast means of erecting access scaffolding without loose parts. Rigid 4 way fixing gives a positive location without movement.
Spigot and wedge fitting on the standard to give guaranteed vertical alignment. Quality primed & painted or hot dipped galvanized finish for maintenance free use.
Scaffstage transom, for instance, keeps the scaffold board and work platform safe. Make them stay stationary while focusing on the Scaffstage tower. When building side and suspended scaffolds, Scaffstage tie bars provide side protection for Scaffstage brackets.
Conforms to BS1139 Part 5, HD 1000, OSHA, Australian, New Zealand Standards.

Features and Benefits
- EASY TO ERACT: The modular design of the Kwikstage scaffolding system allows it to be modified as needed to suit various purposes. When a building’s façade varies and renders conventional scaffolds useless, this kind of system is especially helpful.
- VERSATILITY: The Kwikstage platform can be used in a variety of ways thanks to its adaptability. Each component of the system is easily adaptable to various projects as they change over time by simply adding or removing modules from their design because it was created with flexibility in mind.
- EASE OF USE: Fasten-free Kwikstage Scaffolding can be put together in a single motion. This type of scaffold can be set up more quickly and with fewer workers because the individual grids make it simple and quick to attach the four horizontal brackets.
- SAFE: The Kiwkstage scaffolding system is unmatched in terms of strength and stability. It can be quickly taken down, making it ideal for jobs that require frequent movement through various locations, like construction sites
- ACCESSORIES: Several different accessories that you can purchase to make your adventures more enjoyable add to the platforming system’s adaptability
Scaffstage Scaffolding Parts

SCAFFSTAGE STANDARD
Made from standard scaffolding tube. They have ‘V’ pressing welded at 495mm 4 way connections for ledgers.

LEDGER</h
They are welded with 'C' press and wedge, used for easy installation on the standard.

ADJUSTABLE SPIGOT JACK</h
It connects open end standard with drophead and it is used for adjusting drophead height.

DECKING BEAMS
Designed to support a variety of bay sizes with a maximum load on any support leg of 40kN. Available sizes: 8’0”, 6’0” and 4’0”

INFILL BEAMS
Designed as secondary beams to support plywood at permissible spans. Safe working load: 40kN UDL

SCAFFSTAGE DROPHEAD
Support the decking beam which are seated on the projected support plate.

PLAIN BASE PLATE
It is the base of the scaffolding. It is used when the standards on even grounds.

SCAFFSTAGE SPIGOT
Scaffstage Spigot is used to connect two standards.

BASE JACK
It is the base of the scaffolding. It is used to level the standards on uneven grounds.

CANTILEVER FRAMES
To provide extra support at the edge of a construction, especially slab edge formwork, the cantilever frame can be attached directly to the vertical at the node points.

CANTILEVER BEAM FRAME
If drop beams are encountered within the support grid, the use of Cantilever beam brackets with jacks and F-heads accepting beams spanning from one bracket to another can avoid the need for ground based support.

INT. BEAM BRACKET
If drop beams are encountered within the support grid, the use of beam brackets with jacks and F-heads accepting beams spanning from one bracket to another can avoid the need for ground based support.

STANDARD
The standard is the vertical member of the scaffold with a spigot (either round or box type) at one end for accurate alignment.

SCAFFSTAGE LEDGERS
The ledger is used to connect the standard in a longitudinal direction. It is made from scaffold tube with wedge ‘Banana Type’ fixing at each which fits in the ‘V’ locating lugs on the standard.

TRANSOM
An inverted tee-section with the same fixing device on each end as the ledger. They are used to carry 3 or 5 numbers of steel or timber battens and toeboard.

RETURN TRANSOM
Fixed to the inner and outer standard and placed over the first ledger of an adjacent 90° bay. Seating on one side for 3 or 5 numbers of steel or timber battens giving the same level decking on both scaffold runs.

BOW STRING TRANSOM
Bowstring Transom is designed to support steel and timber battens at both ends. Its allowable uniform working load 5.0 kN/sq.m. (509.84 kg/ sq.m) including 25.0 percent impact load.

FLAT BAR TRANSOM

LOADING BAY TRANSOM
The loading bay transoms are used to form 8’x8′ kwikstage scaffold towers.

DIAGONAL BRACE
The diagonal brace is used to the full height of the scaffolding in a longitudinal direction.

COUPLER BRACE
The coupler brace is used when necessary across the scaffold.

STAGE BRACKET
To extend the scaffold by cantilevering for an additonal 1, 2 or 3 board platform.

HOP UP BRACKET
To extend the scafforld by cantilevering for an additional 1,2 or 3 board platform.

TOE BOARD BRACKET
Clamps to the stadard with a captive wedge to hold the batten toe board vertically in place.

END TOE BOARD BRACKET
Fits into the ‘V’ locating lugs on the standard at the end of a platform to hold the end batten toe board vertically in place.

TIE BAR
For connecting the access brackets along the length of the platform. This ensures correct spacing so that the battens are not dislodged.

STEEL BATTEN
The steel platform batten spans between the transoms giving a non-slip level surface.

LADDER ACCESS
Three different sizes of ladder are available which can be connected to obtain any length.

LADDER ACCESS TRANSOM
Scaffstage ladder acess transom is used to secure the ladder to the system.

STAIR ACCESS

BATTEN CLAMP
To secure battens in high wind conditions.

INTERNAL CORNER FILLER
For use with two and three board stage bracket, to fill the gap at internal corners

BRIDGING LEDGER 12’0” X 16’0”
Made from standard tube to span between two 8’ bays to give clear access or to avoid obstructions.

BRIDGING LEDGER 24’0”
Made from standard tube to span between three 8’ bays to give clear access or to avoid obstructions.
