ScaffLock System

Scafflock System

ScaffLock is a proven multi-purpose scaffold system which can be used for all forms of access and suffort structures in the building and construction industries, shipbuilding, offshore construction and
industrial maintenance

The most popular system scaffold in use today is ScaffLock. It is a multi-use, fully galvanised steel scaffold system that can support vertical loads and provide general access. The distinguishing characteristic of ScaffLock is its one-of-a-kind circular node point, which enables up to four horizontals to be connected to a vertical in a single fastening action, making it likely the fastest and safest system available.

>
It can be used with conventional scaffold boards or battens thanks to the wide variety of ScaffLock components. The variety of access and support structures, stair towers, circular scaffolds, loading towers, and mobile towers that can be built using it is enormous

Features and Benefits

  • SPEED OF ERECTION CUPLOCK profided major savings in erection and dismantling times thus minimizing on site costs. when not in use, its modular construction ensures minimal space requirements for storage.
  • SIMPLICITY CUPLOCK’s unique node point connection allows up to four horizontal members to be connected to a vertical member in one single action – without the use of nuts and bolts or wedges. The locking device is formed by two cups, a fixed lower cup which is welded to the vertical component at pre-located intervals and sliding upper cup. The forged blade ends of the components in place and a hammer blow then results in a positive rigid connection.
  • VERSATILITY CUPLOCK is extremely versatile. It can be erected for straight, curved and circular configuration for both access and support, and also for independent and mobile towersVariety of bay lengths, from 1’-10” to 10’-0”
  • STRENGHT Both vertical and horizontal members are manufactured form 048.3 x 3.2mm high tensile steel to British Standard 4360 Grade 50 (minimum UTS + 534 MPa).
  • DURABILITY With no loose parts and with corrosion protection by hot-dip galvanising to British Standard 729, minimum thickness of the zinc coating is 85 microns.
  • conforms to BS1139 Parts 5, HD 1000, OSHA and Australian & New Zealand Standards.

ScaffLock Scaffolding Parts

SCAFFLOCK STANDARD

The standard is the vertical member of the scaffold with a spigot at one end for accurate alignment. Also available in open end. Standards are made from φ48.3 x 3.2mm steel tube,

LEDGER</h

The ledger consists of symmetrical forged blade ends for simple erection and complete interchangeability in support structures. They locate in the bottom cups of the standards at platform level.

INTERMEDIATE TRANSOMS</h

They are used where scaffold boards require intermediate support between the span of two ledgers. They have a integral locking device to prevent movement during use.

INSIDE BOARD TRANSOMS

Functions similar to intermediate transom, but it extends beyond the ledgers to provide intermediate support to a single inside board.for accurate alignment. Also available in open end.

RETURN DEVICE

One end of return device comprises of blade and the other end a hooked section which locates over ledger on the return elevation to provide a corner connection.

OMEGA TRANSOMS

They are made of omega section to accept either timber or steel battens. Different sizes are available.

RETURN TRANSOMS

They provide connections between two adjacent 90-degree bays. Return Transom designed to allow corner returns without infills.

SWIVEL FACE BRACE

They provides the face bracing to a K-Lock access scaffold. Each brace has a swivelling blade end to allow for easy location in the node point.

COUPLER BRACE

The coupler brace is used when necessary across the scaffold. Different sizes are available.

HOP-UP BRACKETS

It is designed to increase overall width of working platform. It is connected to standard at one end and at other end it incorporate a cup joint for a additional inside ledger to join hop-up bracket together to support intermediate transoms.

OMEGA HOP-UP BRACKETS

Made of Omega profile. It is designed to increase overall width of working platform. It is connected to standard at one end and at other end it incorporate a cup joint for a additional inside ledger to join hop-up bracket together to support intermediate transoms

DROP HEAD

The most important part of shuttering is the drophead. Made with an extra-strong steel wedge KHK’s drop head allows the decking beams, infill beams to be lowered at a hammr stroke.

DECKING BEAMS

Includes 100mm wide top flange which eliminates the necessity for a plywood infill, so cutting down maintenance cost.

BASE JACK, UNIVERSAL JACK & PLAIN BASE PLATE

The screw base jack and head jack are made of high strength steel Q235 pipes, for supporting and stabilizing horizontal beams in slab construction.

STAIR ACCESS

A ladder bracket can be used to fix the vertical ladder inside or outside the scaffolding system, providing safe access up and down the temporary structure.

SOCKET BASE (ADAPTOR)

It provides a base for the universal jack, also connect universal jack to drophead.

INFILL BEAMS

infill beams are Used to provide skeletal support for plywood decking.
